Partner Portal Release 2.2

    Valued Partner,

    Wish you a very happy new year – 2012!   NetEnrich is excited to announce the rollout of version 2.2 of our Partner Portal.  The N-Care agents will also be upgraded to the latest version by end Jan 2012.  The following is a review of the portal enhancements that you can expect after these upgrades are rolled out across all managed devices and the Partner portal.

    1. New Device Details Report:

    NetEnrich is happy to make available a new “Device Details Report” for download via the portal.  It is a customizable, on-demand,  report that provides visibility on several key aspects of every managed windows device within a customer environment.   Please review report format, validate contents and send your feedback and comments  (An annotated report with details is available at >> Reports >> Device Inventory >> Device Details Report >> Know you report link)

    2. Warranty Details on managed devices:

    Warranty details on physical servers and workstations have been added into the Partner Portal and are visible within the Hardware tab on the Device home page.  This data is available for some of the managed devices, at this point.

    3. Device tree display of discovered devices:

    Devices discovered (in the defined scan profile), but not currently managed will be presented in the device tree under a special category called “Discovered”.     This allows you to identify the unmanaged devices in the customer network and add subscribe to managed services on these as well.

    4. Minor bug fixes:

    Several minor bug fixes have also been incorporated into this release.  These are available after the N-Care agent has been upgraded to the latest version:

    • Windows 7 Service pack is now listed correctly.
    • All the applications installed on the managed device are listed in the portal.
